Weldon Primary School Welcomes TeamGB's Bekah Walton

Weldon Primary School welcomed Bekah Walton, a TeamGB Javelin thrower and future Olympian, who led an inspiring PE session focused on javelin throwing. Bekah's visit included an uplifting assembly where she shared her journey as an athlete, serving as a role model for aspiring students.

Well done to the Year 4 Hockey team for securing third-place finish at the District Tournament, showcasing their skills and teamwork despite challenging weather conditions.

Weldon Primary also achieved an impressive second place in the Year 3/4 District Athletics competition. This outstanding performance earned them a spot in the upcoming County Finals, with one of their students achieving the highest score among all girl competitors in the competition.
