Our History
PDET was established in 2013 by Peterborough Diocese as the “natural home” for church schools wanting to join a Multi Academy Trust. The Diocese covers Rutland, Northamptonshire and part of Peterborough and we welcomed our first school into the Trust which was in Northamptonshire, St Andrews in Kettering on 1st May 2014. Our first school in Rutland, Ryhall, joined us on 1st October 2014 and our first school in Peterborough, William Law, joined us on 1st June 2021. The Trust has grown to become the home of 33 church school academies across the Diocese.
